I've recently had the opportunity to interview Jordan. Owner & Publisher of Nudeblackdancers and Nychocolatemodels.com. A spot to literally find 100's of girlies bouncing ass, snapping photos, & swanging on poles. I went into the mind of this guy to get a behind the scenes look at whats going on and how it all happened. Enjoy

1. UVP, The mecca of Sexy, Thick, Beautiful women of color. What made you get into this kind of business? The quest for the perfect ass. Back in the late 80's early 90's I was in another business. It had peaked and I realized it was time for a change. So I used my imagination to come up with something else I'd like to do and eventually this popped into my head. At that time I was a consumer looking sexy women of color on video for my own personal use and such material was very hard to find. Very few companies catered to the softer side of the market, and this is want I preferred to see. So why not create what I want and sell it to others. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

2. How did you get started? I got started with about $3,000 of my savings. As a hobby I had taped women of color off TV talks shows, Soul Train, and music videos. I'd loop up the worthy clips to make them play longer. Since I had no material to sell of my own, I figured I'd try and sell these. So I went to Radio Shack and bought a small 4 channel audio/video distribution amp and 4 VCR's. Then I started making copies of my videos. Then I made up some posters at my local print shop. "Sexy Women of Color on Video," with those little rip tags at the bottom with my business phone number. I hung these all over NYC on lamposts. Over a period of 2-3 years my brother and I hung well over 100,000 posters. I printed a small 2 page catalog and was asking $20.00 per video. Suffice it to say, the orders started coming in. Now of course, this stuff is straight off TV, and if people bought it and were satisfied, imagine what would happen if I started producing my own stuff? So the seeds were sown.

3. Do you have any background education, experience, skills to help you succeed in this business? My education, high school graduate. I did go to a specialized high school, Brooklyn Technical, which really was the most competitive atmosphere I've ever experienced. They really pushed you and expected you to excel. Blacks, whites, and Asian, a perfect mix. After graduation, I went to college for 6 months and dropped out from boredom. The school work was just too easy. This of course led me to the typical 9-5 jobs such as security guard, office clerck, etc. I did work like this for 2-3 years before I got the idea for my first business, which even though it was very different from this one (I published a weekly newspaper) it still taught me a lot about day to day business stuff. Plus I read a few books on small businesses, assimilated the information, and put it to practical use.

4. Compared to other sites. What’s different about yours? Our sites features your regular "around the way" type girl, who may or may not be an exotic dancer. We don't use a makeup artists like most sites, and we shoot women in a wider range of sizes. So we offer more variety than most sites as well as more of a natural reflection of what actually exists in the real world.

5. What's currently being done to stay ahead of the competition? Not much, just because we are so far ahead of the competition there really is nothing we need to change. It's a small niche and our talent pool is the best available. In the video business, we have the best women of color ever seen. Some new jack would have to go a long way before they could ever find the likes of Italia, Dreamer and Scarlett. Our online magazine has already featured more new talent in 3 years than all our closest competitors combined.

6. Out of the models on the site. What was it about Scarlett that made you give her an exclusive contract and her own site? She still doesn’t have an exclusive contract, just a verbal one. The reason she got her own site was because she worked for me in my office answering phones and we developed a great friendship. The demand for her was extremely high, so since we already had a friendship I told her I'd set it up. If she wasn't a personal friend it would of never happened, because individual model sites require dealing with certain things I don't like to deal with. I prefer to work on my time for me, not for other folks. This is why you don't see the dozens of sites we obviously could have done with other models.

7. What’s Scarlett height, weight, age, and measurements? She’s about 5 feet tall, age 26, weight 160, measurements 36C-26-47. If she was more motivated she could be world famous like Melyssa “Jessica Wabbit” Ford. But she’s just too laid back to do much more than take a few flicks and raise her son. Which she is really doing a great job raising him. He’s a wonderful boy.

8. Has the industry changed due to technology, marketplace & competition? The only change that has effected me is the mass popularity of DVD Video. We just started offering DVD's for sale to insure we don‘t miss the boat, and if early indications are accurate, the timing couldn't be better.

9. What do you think of imitated sites that are following the same formula that made you successful? That's the nature of life. Imitation is inevitable in any market when others believe you to be successful. After all, who doesn't want some of that money!

10. When you see other like sites diss UVP, how do you react and what do you think about it? In the beginning it was fun, because it was a challenge and I'm always up for a challenge. But I when I looked into the future I could see that these sites were no real threat to my position because they were always lacking some of the key ingredients to be perceived as being better than what I offered. So of course how can you react to what you think is no threat? You don’t react at all. Time was on my side.

11. What happened with that Latin Spice situation. It was rumored that their was some kind of beef with her moving from UVP to Digital Creations? There was no real beef since we don't have exclusive contracts with any model on our sites, so Latin Spice and all the models are free to work with others. But publicly the Latin Spice situation became what I call "public entertainment" for the masses which ultimately helped the launch of her own website and helped us sell more of her videos. Mainly all my so called beefs with others usually stemmed from the fact that... I don't work with folks I don't need to work with, the key word here is need; and I don't provide contact information for the models we work with, so if you want to use one of our models, you have to find them yourself. That pissed quite a few people off but hey, I don't believe in making future competition for myself, that's not the American way. Black webmasters as whole preferred to get some kind of helping hand from me, but that‘s not why I‘m here. I‘m here to do me, not help you do you, unless of course it‘s helping me. Confused, don’t be, selfish is what they call it.

12. What do you like/dislike most about being in the business? Dislikes, none. It's a great business. You work with beautiful women, if you enjoy sex many opportunities become available, and of course you make plenty of money. There really is no downside especially since I have no public persona. I can walk down the street anonymously, most other webmasters have their photos all over their sites. I guess they want the fame and the fortune, I'll just take the fortune.

13. Things change, in the next 10-20 years. Predict what the industry will be like? Impossible to predict that timeline other than to say that if Black women’s sexuality continues to enter the mainstream, my type of material may become obsolete or sell much less. Turn on BET today and it’s “jerk off” heaven. In the 80’s there was no such opportunities for masturbation.

14. If you weren’t doing UVP. What would you be doing? Nothing, I refuse to start any more businesses since right now I still work about 10 hours a day and I'd prefer to do more personal things with my free time. Since I plan on early retirement in 6 years I'll have a lot more time to travel the earth and enjoy what the planet has to offer.
15. Do you make a living doing UVP? Of course, this business does make money. I have no debt, everything I own is completely paid for, what more could you ask. Again I'm not really into materialistic possessions so you won't see me blinging with a $30,000 diamond encrusted Rolex, but if I wanted to I could.

16. Where were you born & raised? I was born in Brownsville Brooklyn, your typical project life. My family moved to Queens back in 1976 which of course changed my life a lot.

17. What are your hobbies? Right now my only hobby is reading, that's what I do with 75% of my free time. My quest to understand the true nature of my purpose on earth, and mankind’s purpose in general. And the occasional PC game, but I've gotten away from that mostly because I no longer see the point of running around killing things. Which is what 90% of these games are based on. It’s actually strange too look at them know that I’ve stepped outside that box. It's totally pointless and a complete waste of human potential.

18. How do you keep your composure during photo shoots? Easy, I'm focused. My intent is to maintain my composure. As a man, generally if I maintain that composure nothing further will happen. Of course you get the occasional model who makes the first move, at which point, I just let them down easy. My main photographer on the other hand never refuses an offer. But that's his life not mine. I guess he’s living the fantasy that most folks thought I was living.

19. While on a shoot. What’s the most wildest, craziest, and embarrassing thing that ever happened? (What was her name?) The wildest of course was when Ms. L hemmed me up on the wall. This women just really wanted to fuck, but I was still in a relationship at the time, so I had to let her down easy. But not before she had me on the bed, telling me it's now or never. Oh that was some funny shit cause I really wanted her. A real test of my composure. Embarrassing, not for me but I've seen many a model fall off the chair that's on the UVP dance stage or put on a bit too much baby oil and end up busting their asses.

20. A lot of fans want to know. Do you fuck a lot? Nah, I've never had multiple females at the same time. I've always practiced serial monogamy. I'm just out off a 3 year relationship and it may very well be my last try at serial monogamy. Not that I'm going to start wilding, but I don't think I want to tie myself down any longer especially since I don't want to have kids, or get married.

21. Your males friends must love you for being a link to models. Do you feel used at times? Nah, I don't let my friends get down like that. I don't mix business and pleasure so nor do I let my friends use me for such purposes. I'm my own man, and rarely do I let outside influences like friends change my point of view.

22. Many men will drop to their knees, give 1000’s of dollars, and simply go bananas if they were with these women. Does being in the company of so many beautiful women give you a different perspective on the female? Of course, eat candy all day and eventually the candy loses it's appeal, it's taste. This has been my overall experience. Of course I still see the beauty in women but I've seen so many models and photos of models that I'm no longer like DAMN!!! That's over for me. I could say it but I won’t feel it. And in many ways that's a good thing because the fetish of looking at tits and ass can be very time consuming.

23. There are fans out their that’ll dig deep in their pockets to see a Scarlett, Starlight, Leila, Success etc do a hardcore scene. Why do you steadfastly alienate hard-core? Because I never wanted to do hardcore. I prefer to see women with some clothes on so of course my companies have to reflect that. Of course if it was all about money I would of been done that, but money was never my primary motivation.

24. What should the fans expect to see in the future from UVP? Girls, girls girls!!!! Seriously just more and different models and perhaps the introduction of another line of videos at some point in the future.

25. What advice would you give to a shy dude on approaching women? Being shy serves no purpose, other than creating a situation for yourself where you will not meet women. One of the basic laws of the universe is that you create your own reality. Knowing this gives you the power to overcome any obstacle because the only real obstacle is yourself.

26. What makes a girl with a big head so good at oral sex? HA! You funny now! From working with porn stars Champagne, Menage and Solveig, they had two things in common, they could deep throat a dude with ease and they had huge fucking domepieces!! That shit might sound trivial but if you have a huge head, your mouth and throat are probably bigger too, so yeah, you should be able to deep throat dudes easier. Just my observation. Some women really do have some small heads, so I'd say fellas beware of the small headed women.

27. Is sex really better mentally than physically? Yes, in order to grasp this concept you really have to understand your true nature here on earth, which is that you are a spirit (pure consciousness) manifested into a 3 dimensional matrix. Your senses, things you feel here, must be translated from the physical to the spiritual but like all translations, something is always lost in the process. Your senses are part of your spiritual being not the physical. Your body is essentially a sensor device but not the device that interprets the signal, that’s your spirit. This is why many folks here have had their best orgasms in a dream when they are experiencing their pure consciousness. This is why folks who have NDE’s (Near Death Experiences) come back having experienced a feeling of love so deep, that life on earth almost seems inadequate. But scientists here have yet to realize that consciousness creates the physical world, not vice versa as they currently believe.

28. In closing. Is their anything you’ll like to add? Three simple things to contemplate. 1) You create your own reality. 2) You experience what you believe. 3) The power is always in the present. Understand these 3 things and you can conquer the world, for the world is you.
